Cody earned his college education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha before attending the University of Iowa of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2010. During law school, he competed on the Jessup International Moot Court team and was published in the Journal of Transnational Law and Contemporary Problems. That academic training helped shape his clear, research-based approach to legal work. Cody, after law school, began practicing at a local firm in Sioux City and worked on a broad range of legal issues. He later became a partner at Fankhauser, Farrens & Rachel, PLC, before joining Tigges, Bottaro & Lessmann, LLP Law Firm through a 2021 merger. Today, he focuses on cases that often affect a person’s family, freedom, future, and financial stability. He is licensed in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota, allowing him to assist clients with legal matters across a wider regional area.
