About
Theresa Daniels is a Fort Myers family law attorney and founder of Daniels Law, P.A., who serves clients throughout Southwest Florida. Her practice centers on family law matters, and she brings deep ties to Lee County, where she has spent her legal career serving local residents. She is known for explaining Florida statutes and legal procedures in clear, understandable terms, helping clients navigate difficult family matters with practical guidance and personal attention.
Theresa earned a B.S. in Business Management from Hodges University in Fort Myers and graduated with honors from Barry University School of Law in Orlando. During law school, she served as a Senior Editor of the Barry Law Review and as an Executive Board Member of the Barry Association of Women Lawyers. She also participated in the Student Trial Advocacy Team and worked as a Certified Legal Intern representing juvenile defendants through the Children and Families Clinical program.
Theresa founded Disability Advocates in Fort Myers before earning her law degree, gaining experience helping people navigate complex administrative systems. She later worked as an Associate Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where she handled Southwest Florida workers’ compensation defense matters and Social Security Disability claims. That background adds to her understanding of advocacy, case management, and the challenges clients face when dealing with legal and administrative processes. She is admitted to practice in Florida courts and the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Theresa Daniels combines family law experience with longstanding involvement in the Southwest Florida legal community. She is a member of The Florida Bar, Lee County Bar Association, and American Bar Association. She previously served on the executive board of the Lee County Association for Women Lawyers and as its president for 2014-2015. Her service has also included leadership with the Lee County Bar Association and Lee County Legal Aid Society, along with pro bono work through Florida Rural Legal Services and community involvement with Habitat for Humanity.
