Theodore R. Doran

Theodore R. Doran is the founding partner of Doran Foxman Sims Wolfe and Yoon in Daytona Beach, Florida. Practicing law since 1982, he focuses on family law, personal injury, government tort liability, and guardianships. As a seasoned trial attorney, he has defended and prosecuted major claims on behalf of the State of Florida, including the second and third largest verdicts ever obtained for the state, and represented school boards in statewide education funding litigation.

Mr. Doran earned his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law, where he served on the Board of Editors for Advanced Appellate Advocacy and was a member of Florida Blue Key. He also holds a B.S. from Florida State University. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982, he is also licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Throughout his career, Mr. Doran has been lead counsel in numerous appellate cases, including Lostaglio v. Lostaglio, which was voted the 2016 Florida alimony case of the year. His practice serves clients across diverse professions such as physicians, executives, and public officials.
