Terry R. Sutton

Terry R. Sutton is the founding attorney of Sutton Law, P.C., and a former prosecutor with strong courtroom experience. He represents clients in criminal defense law, personal injury claims, family law, divorce, and civil litigation. His work focuses on giving clients honest advice, clear case direction, and practical legal strategies. He listens carefully to each client’s concerns, explains the legal process in simple terms, and builds a plan based on the facts, the law, and the client’s goals and best interests.

Terry earned his B.A. in Liberal Studies from Northern Arizona University, where he developed broad knowledge and a strong interest in public service. He later earned his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2003, completing the legal training needed for courtroom practice. His education helped prepare him to analyze legal issues, communicate clearly, and advocate for clients facing difficult legal problems in Arizona courts each day.

Terry began serving the public as a prosecutor with the Pinal County Prosecutors’ Office after law school. This role gave him valuable trial experience and a deep understanding of how criminal cases are reviewed, prepared, and argued. He is admitted to practice in the State of Arizona, the United States District Court of the District of Arizona, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. He is also affiliated with the State Bar of Arizona and Pinal County Federal Credit Union.
