Ted Disabato

Ted Disabato is the Managing Member of TdD Attorneys at Law in St. Louis and practices extensively in real estate law. His work includes real estate transactions, homeowner association matters, title insurance, litigation and investment issues, estate planning, probate and estate administration, business law, divorce and child custody, and personal injury. He also has professional roles in real estate brokerage, title, and mortgage businesses, giving him practical exposure to several sides of property transactions.

Ted earned a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law, an M.B.A. from Saint Louis University School of Business, and a B.A. from Saint Louis University School of Arts and Science. His combined legal and business education supports a practice involving property, financing, contracts, ownership structures, transactions, and estate matters. The M.B.A. adds a commercial perspective to legal work in which business terms, risk allocation, and financial consequences are often central.

Ted previously served as President and General Counsel for Bankers and Lenders Title LLC and as Underwriting Counsel with First American Title Insurance Company’s National Commercial Services office in St. Louis. He also managed the National Residential Real Estate Division of Citigroup Private Bank in New York and began his legal career with a foreclosure firm. These roles provide experience with title issues, mortgage lending, commercial transactions, foreclosures, and complex real estate closings.

Ted Disabato has been recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal in its Top 30 under 30 and regularly speaks to legal and real estate audiences. His practice combines real estate law, title experience, lending knowledge, business counseling, and estate planning. He helps clients address transactions and disputes with an understanding of how legal documents, financing structures, title concerns, and business objectives interact throughout the life of a property or investment.
