Tara Pool

Tara Pool is a Partner & Attorney Ad Litem at Lion Legal in Arkansas. She manages and guides associate attorneys in the Family Division, takes contested family cases to trial, and serves as an Attorney Ad Litem. Family law is the central focus of her practice. She works with clients facing emotionally demanding disputes and develops legal strategies that account for both immediate concerns and continuing relationships.

Tara earned her BA – Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Arkansas – Little Rock in 2001. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law in 2006. Her education connects an understanding of people and communities with legal training. That background is relevant to a practice involving family relationships and sensitive personal circumstances.

Tara’s professional experience includes work at Rivendell Behavioral Health and Pathfinder, Inc., both before and after law school. She has served in litigation, division management, front office, and ad litem roles and became a partner in 2021. She favors reasonable resolutions that preserve relationships when possible, while remaining prepared to take contested matters to trial. Her responsibilities also include administrative and personnel matters within the practice.
