Tamie L. Cummins is a Partner at Borton Petrini, LLP in Modesto, California, where she manages the firm’s Modesto and Fresno offices as well as its Family Law and Bankruptcy Divisions throughout the state.

With years of dedicated service, Tamie has established herself as a respected leader in her field, known for her professionalism, compassion, and unwavering commitment to achieving positive outcomes for her clients. Tamie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law from the University of the Pacific in 2001. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the Laurence Drivon School of Law at Humphrey’s College in 2007, where she served as President of the Student Bar Association. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2007 and the Federal Court in 2008. Her educational and professional background reflects a deep commitment to excellence in both legal scholarship and community service.

A Certified Family Law Specialist, Tamie represents clients in Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced Counties, handling dissolution of marriage, property division, custody, visitation, support, adoption, guardianship, and prenuptial agreements. She provides compassionate mediation when appropriate and assertive advocacy when necessary. Additionally, she represents debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California.

Active in her legal community, Tamie L. Cummins has served as a Director of the Stanislaus County Bar Association, a Bench Bar Liaison, and a Judicial Liaison.
