Tai Stevenson

Tai Stevenson is the founder and principal attorney at Think Immigration, where he focuses on immigration law with a commitment to honest, effective advocacy. He represents clients in family-based petitions, asylum, employment immigration, and deportation defense, as well as immigration consequences of criminal convictions. He provides legal services with deep integrity, refusing to take on cases unless he believes he can truly help the client. As a former immigrant himself, Tai understands firsthand the challenges faced by his clients and takes a compassionate, thorough approach to every case.

Tai earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2009. During law school, he served on the Law Review and received CALI Awards of Excellence in multiple subjects, including Immigration Law, Corporations, and Civil Procedure. He also earned two Certificates in Business Law—one with a concentration in E-Commerce, and the other in Financial Services and Commercial Law. Tai holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Emory University and is a graduate of Cairo American College.

Tai is an experienced immigration attorney who has represented clients in immigration courts across all 50 states. He regularly helps individuals and families obtain green cards through marriage-based, family-based, and employment-based petitions, and has a strong track record in complex removal (deportation) defense cases. Before focusing on immigration law, Tai worked at the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office and volunteered with the immigration clinic at Catholic Charities.

Admitted to practice in Oklahoma and all three federal district courts within the state, Tai Stevenson is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Oklahoma County Bar Association. Fluent in Korean and proficient in Arabic, Tai brings global insight to local legal challenges—making him a trusted advocate for clients across diverse backgrounds.
