About
Wayne Williams is the managing partner and co-founder of Williams DeLoatche, P.C., established in 2008. With over two decades of legal experience, he focuses his practice on representing plaintiffs in personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and nursing home abuse cases across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Wayne earned his undergraduate degree in history from the University of Virginia in 1995 and received his Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in 2000. Before forming his firm, Wayne worked for both a local civil litigation practice and a large statewide defense litigation firm, gaining valuable insight into handling claims from both the plaintiff and defense perspectives.
Throughout his 23-year career, Wayne has litigated hundreds of cases in state and federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. His courtroom work has secured tens of millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for injured clients. His experience representing both insurers and individuals uniquely qualifies him to build strong, practical strategies for those seeking justice after serious injury.
Wayne is admitted to practice in all Virginia state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He is an active member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Virginia State Bar, and local bar associations, including the Norfolk and Portsmouth bar associations, where he previously served as President and received the Walter E. Hoffman Award for outstanding community service.
In addition to his legal work, T. Wayne Williams is deeply engaged in civic leadership. He has chaired the Norfolk Public Schools Middle School Mock Trial Program for more than two decades, mentoring thousands of students. Recognized as a Super Lawyer/Top 100 in Virginia and a Top Lawyer by Coastal Virginia Magazine, he continues to be a trusted advocate for both his clients and community.
