Sydney Alexander is a litigation attorney at Holland & Knight’s Miami office, focusing on complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution. She represents clients in both state and federal courts, handling high-stakes cases with a strategic and results-driven approach. Her experience spans representations and warranties insurance matters, product liability cases, and other intricate legal disputes requiring skilled advocacy.
Sydney earned her Juris Doctor with honors from Emory University School of Law. During law school, she demonstrated her academic excellence as a Dean’s List student and a recipient of a merit scholarship from 2016 to 2019. She also served as the executive marketing editor and staff writer for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal, refining her legal research and writing skills. Before law school, she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida, earning numerous accolades, including the prestigious Order of Pegasus award.
Before joining Holland & Knight, Sydney clerked for the Honorable Mary S. Scriven in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, gaining deep, practical insight into federal court procedures and judicial decision-making. She also built substantial litigation experience at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia, where she supported the prosecution of organized crime cases and appeared in federal court.

She is an active member of The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division and the Federal Bar Association.
