Susanne M. Chisholm

Susanne M. Chisholm is an attorney with Chisholm Persson & Ball, PC. She concentrates her practice in estate planning, probate and trust administration, fiduciary income tax, guardianships, prenuptial agreements, and gift and estate tax. Her work helps clients plan for assets, family needs, and future legal responsibilities properly with care.

Susanne earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Vermont in 1987. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1992. This education supports her focused work in estate planning, probate, trusts, tax matters, and fiduciary legal guidance.

Susanne received the American Jurisprudence Award and the Little, Brown & Company Award in Trusts and Estates during law school. She was recognized as one of New Hampshire’s Best and Brightest young attorneys in 1996 and received the President’s Award for Pro Bono Attorney of the Year, Belknap County, in 1997.

Susanne was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1992 and the New Hampshire Bar in 1994. She began her law career with a Big Six accounting firm before moving into private practice. She later served as a partner at another Laconia law firm before forming her current firm in 2012.

Susanne is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Estate Planning Council. She frequently teaches continuing legal education courses on estate planning and probate topics, sharing practical knowledge with other legal professionals while staying engaged in her practice areas.
