Sungkyun Kim

Sungkyun Kim is a highly skilled attorney specializing in commercial litigation, business transactions, and intellectual property law. As the Founding Member of Yuyool Law and Of Counsel at Mirae Law, he provides strategic legal guidance to businesses and individuals navigating complex legal matters. His expertise spans shareholder agreements, contract disputes, intellectual property enforcement, and transactional matters, making him a trusted advocate for his clients.

Sungkyun earned his Juris Doctor from Yeshiva University Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, concentrating in Business Law. He served as an Articles Editor and Staff Editor for the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal during law school. He also gained valuable judicial experience interning for the Honorable Gerald Lebovits of the New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan, where he drafted over ten judicial decisions, some of which were later published. He also holds an LL.B. in U.S. and International Law and a B.A. in Management from Handong University.

Before founding Yuyool Law, Sungkyun was a litigation associate at Schmeiser Olsen and Watts, an intellectual property law firm. He handled trademark infringement and enforcement litigation, trademark prosecution, and IP transactions there. His experience in litigation and transactional law allows him to provide comprehensive legal solutions to his clients, whether they need aggressive representation in disputes or strategic guidance in business transactions.

Sungkyun Kim is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
