Jelenchick earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 2001 and his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin in 1998. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. His education and litigation background support his ability to analyze commercial agreements, financial relationships, liability claims, and business risks while developing practical strategies for complex disputes.
Jelenchick has served as lead counsel in significant commercial and defense matters. His representative work includes defending a construction surety against more than $15 million in claims arising from a failed hotel project, obtaining a complete defense verdict in a premises liability jury trial involving claimed damages of $1.5 million, and defending financial institutions in mortgage repurchase litigation involving claims reaching $100 million. He has also handled product liability, unfair competition, class action, and breach of contract disputes.
Steven W. Jelenchick holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is active in the State Bar of Wisconsin, American Bar Association, Milwaukee Bar Association, and Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association.
