Steven P. Lee

Steven P. Lee is a partner with extensive experience representing companies of all sizes in civil litigation, business matters, employment disputes, and public entity law. Since 1993, he has advised clients ranging from small private businesses to large corporations, helping them address workplace issues, contract disputes, unfair business practices, and real estate concerns. He handles all stages of litigation and is known for guiding clients through challenging disputes with clarity and practical insight.

Mr. Lee earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where he also completed an Internship Certification from the Institute of International and Comparative Law. He received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His strong academic background supports his ability to manage complex legal issues and provide effective representation in court, mediation, arbitration, and pre-litigation negotiations.

Over his career, Mr. Lee has defended clients in class actions involving product liability and wage and hour claims, handled employment matters for workers facing mistreatment or harassment, and represented businesses in corporate and contractual disputes. He also spent nearly a decade serving as Assistant City Attorney for the Cities of Ojai and Fillmore, attending council meetings, advising public officials, and handling municipal legal issues. His work as Acting City Attorney and Interim City Attorney further strengthened his understanding of government operations and regulatory compliance.
