Stephen Lockard

Stephen Lockard Esq., is a litigation attorney at J&Y Law, who represents plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits and disputes involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and serious bodily injury. He served as a mediator for the Fulton County Landlord-Tenant Mediation Program, helping resolve a range of property disputes. These experiences exposed him to defense work, mediation, and client-centered problem solving before entering private practice.

Stephen previously practiced at Goodkin Law Group, where his work centered on commercial and residential lease disputes, construction-related claims, and complex transactional matters. Before that, he spent nearly three years at defense litigation firm WSHB. His work there included professional liability, construction defect, habitability, and insurance coverage disputes. That defense experience gave him insight into how opposing parties assess litigation, negotiate claims, and prepare contested matters.
