Stephen B. Barron

Stephen B. Barron is a knowledgeable attorney with extensive experience in civil litigation, defense, and appellate matters. He represents clients in complex legal disputes, including civil rights cases, wrongful death claims, and appeals in federal and state courts. As a shareholder at Wright & Greenhill, P.C., Stephen provides strategic legal counsel and works alongside some of Texas’ most skilled trial attorneys. His expertise spans multiple areas of law, making him a trusted advocate in high-stakes litigation.

Stephen earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2018, where he was a Tom C. Clark Scholar. During law school, he served as a Staff Editor and Articles Editor for The Texas Review of Law & Politics and worked as a research assistant for a law professor. He also gained hands-on experience through clerkships at the Offices of the Texas Solicitor General and the Attorney General’s Litigation Division. Stephen holds a B.A. in English with a Minor in Business Finance from Trinity University, which he completed in 2015.

Stephen B. Barron has successfully represented clients in federal court civil rights litigation and defended law enforcement agencies against wrongful arrest claims. He has also played a key role in defending landowners in multimillion-dollar wrongful death lawsuits. His appellate experience includes petitioning the Western District of Texas and the Fifth Circuit to review an order granting a new trial, addressing key legal issues related to FMLA retaliation claims.
