Stephanie Windham

Stephanie Windham is a partner at Beck, Owen, and Murray. Her practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate, local government, wills and estates, business law, and corporate formations. She has worked with the firm since graduating from law school in 1996, serving clients across several important legal areas.

Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Georgia Southwestern State University. She later received her legal degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. During law school, she served as a teaching fellow in legal research and writing and participated in several student legal organizations.

Stephanie has earned strong professional recognition. She is an AV Preeminent Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rated Attorney. She has also been named Affiliate of the Year twice by the Heart of Georgia Board of Realtors. These honors reflect her standing in real estate and legal service work.

Stephanie is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. She also belongs to the American Land Title Association, the Southeast Land Title Association, the American Bar Association, and the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorney Association. These memberships support her work in real estate, business, public service, and legal practice in Georgia.

Stephanie serves as Attorney for Spalding County, Spalding County Board of Elections, Spalding County Water and Sewerage Facilities Authority, Griffin Spalding County Development Authority, and Griffin Spalding County Airport Authority. Her public work connects her legal knowledge with local government, development, elections, utilities, and community business needs.

Stephanie Windham has also contributed to legal writing. Her publication, “Medical Liability—Lay Midwives: Midwifery and the Practice of Medicine,” appeared in the American Journal of Trial Advocacy in 1995. Through her legal practice, public roles, memberships, and writing, she provides broad professional service to clients and institutions.
