Stephanie began her education at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where she earned her degree in International Studies. She also completed a minor in Spanish and spent a semester abroad in Granada, Spain. This global perspective later influenced her legal interests. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law, where she focused on estate planning and participated in a yearlong clinic providing pro bono legal services.

Stephanie gained valuable experience during her law school summers, working with human rights organizations in both India and Lebanon. These roles helped deepen her understanding of international legal systems and inspired her to co-found a fellowship to support other law students pursuing work in human rights, international law, or immigration law.

Stephanie launched her legal career at a Glendale, California estate planning law firm, where she focused exclusively on conservatorships, estate planning, and probate litigation. This experience shaped her practical, hands-on approach and deepened her commitment to helping individuals protect their assets, plan for the future, and navigate complex legal issues involving aging parents and other loved ones.
