Spencer G. Morgan

Spencer D. West is a Miami family law attorney and a co-founder and equity partner of Mitchell & West, LLC. He represents clients in divorce, military divorce, child custody, child support, relocation, paternity, and domestic violence-related family disputes. Spencer earned an undergraduate degree from Northeastern University in Boston in 1997 and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2001. Before college, he served for three years in the United States Army as a finance specialist. His education and service preceded legal work in public defense and private litigation, giving him experience with both financial matters and courtroom advocacy.

Spencer worked for nearly two years as an assistant public defender in Miami-Dade County after law school. He subsequently practiced at established litigation firms before co-founding his current practice. His family cases include contested divorces, high-asset property disputes, support issues, and agreements concerning marital finances. He has represented professionals, including doctors, attorneys, accountants, and retired professional athletes, in family law matters.
