Sonia Roca

Sonia Roca is the co-founding partner of Lopez Roca, P.A., where she concentrates her practice on personal injury litigation, including bodily injury, property damage, and professional malpractice. Known for her strategic approach and dedication to ethical standards, she advocates strongly for clients during some of their most challenging times.

Sonia Roca graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2009, where she was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship for her academic achievements.

Before launching her own firm, Sonia Roca worked as an attorney for leading insurance companies, where she gained first-hand insight into how insurers defend against personal injury claims. Today, she uses that insider knowledge to anticipate insurance company tactics, build stronger cases, and aggressively protect her clients’ rights in personal injury and accident lawsuits.

Roca is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is an active member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. Her involvement reflects her commitment to professionalism and justice.
