Snyder Gokey is the founder and owner of Gokey Immigration Law Office, a firm dedicated exclusively to the practice of immigration law. With over three decades of legal experience, Snyder has built a reputation for delivering efficient, reliable, and economical legal services to businesses and families navigating the complexities of U.S. immigration.

Snyder earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1982 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan Business School. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and North Dakota, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for both states. Additionally, he is an inactive Certified Public Accountant and a North Dakota Society of Certified Public Accountants member.

Before launching Gokey Immigration Law Office in 2011, Snyder built a strong foundation as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division, gaining extensive courtroom and litigation experience. He then spent 25 years at Vogel Law Firm, focusing on business law and health law while founding and leading the firm’s immigration law practice. This rare combination of high-level government service and long-term private practice gives Snyder a strategic, practical perspective on complex immigration, business, and regulatory challenges.
