Sherry A. Snyder

Sherry A. Snyder is the founder of Legacy Legal Group, LLC and focuses her private practice on estate planning and related areas. Her work includes elder law, special needs and disability planning, probate and trust administration, and business succession planning. Sherry helps individuals and families prepare legal documents, organize transfers, plan for future care needs, and address the administrative responsibilities that arise after death or incapacity, with attention to long-term family and financial objectives.

Sherry earned a B.A. from Drake University in 1990 and a Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law in 1993. Her legal education prepared her for public and private practice involving statutory analysis, legal drafting, and client counseling. She later served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri before limiting her private practice to estate planning and related matters in 2001, building sustained experience in planning, administration, and elder-law concerns.

Sherry is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is accredited to practice before the US Department of Veterans Affairs. She has participated in Missouri Bar committees related to estate planning, probate administration, and elder law. Her practice addresses wills, trusts, probate, disability planning, and succession concerns, allowing clients to coordinate personal instructions, asset management, family support, and business continuity within a broader legal planning framework.

Sherry A. Snyder combines estate-planning experience, prior government service, and long-term professional involvement in probate and elder law. Her work has included recognition as one of St. Charles County’s Forty Professionals Under Forty and through StreetScape Magazine’s Beyond the Best honors. Sherry uses that background to help clients create practical plans, manage probate and trust responsibilities, and address special-needs, elder-law, and business-succession issues with organized legal guidance.
