Shawn G. Crowley is a partner at Hecker Fink LLP, specializing in white-collar criminal defense and civil litigation. With a robust background in trial law and extensive experience as a federal prosecutor, Shawn has handled some of the most high-profile cases in the country.
Shawn earned her Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School in 2011, graduating with distinction as a James Kent Scholar and Harlan Fisk Stone Scholar—honors reserved for students at the top of their class. She demonstrated exceptional leadership as editor-in-chief of the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law and was awarded the Alfred S. Forsyth Prize for Excellence in Environmental Law. During her time as a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, Shawn prosecuted significant cases, including those involving terrorism, narcotics trafficking, money laundering, and fraud. She led landmark cases such as the conviction of Türkiye Halk Bankasi A.Ş. for sanctions evasion and the prosecution of high-ranking Venezuelan officials on narco-terrorism charges.
