Sharon Jackson

Sharon Jackson is the founding attorney of Attorney Sharon Jackson, LLC in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She represents individuals and families throughout Metro Atlanta in divorce and family law matters. Her practice includes contested and uncontested divorce, child custody, alimony, child support, property division, legitimation, modifications, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and enforcement proceedings. She also handles matters involving adoption, parental rights, mediation, and protective orders. She helps clients understand their legal options and make informed decisions during difficult personal transitions.

Sharon earned her Bachelor’s in International Studies from the University of South Carolina. She later earned her Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Chapman University in San Diego, California. In 2005, she earned her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University. Her academic background provides a broad foundation for understanding legal issues, workplace and financial concerns, and the personal factors that often shape family law disputes. This training supports her ability to evaluate complex situations and explain legal matters clearly.

Sharon was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2005. She is admitted to practice before Georgia’s Superior and State Courts, all lower courts of the state, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Her professional affiliations include the Family Law Sections of the Georgia Bar Association and Gwinnett County Bar Association, as well as the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers.

Sharon Jackson has received recognition for her family law practice and client service.
