Shannon L. Wahl is a partner at Martin, Browne, Hull & Harper PLL, where she focuses her practice primarily on employment and labor law matters. Based in the firm’s Springfield office, she advises employers, organizations, and institutions on navigating complex workplace issues with clarity, compliance, and practical legal strategy.

Shannon earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wittenberg University, graduating summa cum laude. Then she completed her Juris Doctor at Capital University Law School, where she graduated cum laude with a concentration in labor and employment law. Her academic training supports a well-grounded and analytical approach to employment-related legal challenges.

Before entering private legal practice, Shannon had more than 15 years of experience in human resource management and related fields. She worked with both national corporations and local government entities, giving her a unique perspective on employment issues from both the public and private sectors.

Shannon’s practice areas include employment law, civil litigation, HR compliance, policy development, workplace training, unemployment law, and labor relations. Her background in human resources allows her to offer solutions that are not only legally sound but also practical, efficient, and aligned with organizational objectives.
