Seth D. Harrow

Seth D. Harrow is a partner and attorney at Vafiades, Brountas & Kominsky, LLP, known as VBK Law, in Bangor, Maine. His practice includes personal injury, accident claims, civil litigation, criminal law, collections, and landlord and tenant disputes. He represents clients facing a variety of contested legal problems and works to identify practical steps for moving claims, defenses, and disputes through the legal process.

Harrow graduated from Brandeis University in 1993, where he studied American Studies and minored in Economics. He earned his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law in 1996, graduating cum laude. During law school, he served on the Moot Court Board and received recognition as a Maine Law Second Year Student Prize Arguer, experiences that developed his legal research and advocacy skills.

After law school, Harrow began practicing in southern Maine and returned to the Bangor area in 2001. He worked with a small litigation firm before joining VBK Law in 2005 and becoming a partner in 2011. His matters range from personal injury and accident cases to criminal proceedings, debt collections, and landlord-tenant disagreements, providing him with experience across different types of civil and criminal disputes.

Harrow is admitted in Maine and Massachusetts and before several federal courts, including the United States District Court for the District of Maine and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He participates in trial lawyer and criminal defense organizations and has served as vice president of the John Waldo Ballou American Inns of Court. Seth D.
