About

Sean C. O’Halloran is a partner and trial attorney with Aiken, O’Halloran & Associates in Fort Myers, Florida. His practice focuses on criminal defense in state and federal courts, including DUI, domestic violence, theft, drug offenses, firearms charges, violent crimes, sex offenses, white collar matters, and other serious allegations. Sean represents clients throughout Lee, Collier, and Charlotte counties and emphasizes investigation, evidence review, and trial preparation from the earliest stages of a case.

Sean earned his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law and his B.A. from Florida State University in 1996, with studies in Communication Management and Business Management. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2000. His legal education and trial-focused career provide a foundation for analyzing criminal charges, evaluating evidence, questioning witnesses, and preparing defenses in both misdemeanor and felony matters.

Before entering private practice, Sean spent three years as an Assistant State Attorney prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases in Charlotte and Lee counties. His work included DUI, domestic violence battery, theft, driver’s license offenses, juvenile cases, murder, firearm offenses, drug violations, robbery, and aggravated battery. He tried dozens of cases before co-founding the firm in 2004 and now uses that prosecutorial background to anticipate charging decisions and trial strategies.

Sean C. O’Halloran is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. His defense approach includes using investigators to interview witnesses, obtain statements, and collect evidence that may support a client’s position before formal charges are filed. His combination of prosecutorial and defense experience helps clients understand the criminal process, evaluate possible defenses, and prepare for negotiations, hearings, or trial.
