After law school, Scott served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. During that time, he worked primarily as a defense counsel in court martials. That experience strengthened his courtroom skills and gave him valuable litigation experience early in his career. After completing military service, he joined his firm in Longmont and continued building a practice that combines business advice, property-related counsel, and dispute resolution for a wide range of clients.

Scott W. Dunn has also contributed through civic and community leadership. He served for ten years on the City of Longmont Planning and Zoning Commission, including three years as chairman.
