Scott R. Scher

Scott R. Scher is a founding partner of Sternberg Thomson Okrent & Scher, PLLC, and practices through Seattle Real Estate Law Group in Kirkland, Washington. His work covers commercial and residential real estate transactions and disputes. He drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, financing arrangements, and commercial leases. His clients include property buyers, sellers, investors, and lending institutions dealing with acquisitions, sales, loan modifications, and property-related disagreements.

Scott has practiced real estate law for more than two decades and has also been a licensed Washington State real estate broker since 1994. This combination of legal practice and real estate brokerage experience informs his understanding of transaction structures, negotiations, and market procedures. He has served on the Northwest Multiple Listing Service Arbitration and Disciplinary Panel. His work as a court-appointed arbitrator adds perspective on resolving disputes involving real estate agreements and other civil issues.

He has served as a King County Superior Court arbitrator under the court’s mandatory arbitration program and previously participated on the American Arbitration Association’s panel of neutrals.
