Scott D. Jensen is an attorney and neutral who now focuses his practice on alternative dispute resolution as a mediator and arbitrator. Over the course of his legal career, he has represented clients in a wide range of litigation matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, business disputes, trust and estate litigation, and family law. His broad courtroom background gives him a valuable perspective in helping parties resolve disputes efficiently and thoughtfully outside of trial.
Jensen earned his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law. He also earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota. His education provided a strong foundation in litigation, legal analysis, and dispute resolution. This academic training supports his work as a mediator and arbitrator, where careful listening, legal knowledge, and practical judgment are essential.
Earlier in his career, Jensen practiced extensively in tort and personal injury litigation, medical malpractice, products liability, asbestos litigation, business and commercial litigation, trust and estate litigation, and family law. That wide-ranging experience allowed him to handle complex legal disputes across many subject areas. Today, he applies that knowledge in alternative dispute resolution, helping clients and attorneys work toward fair and practical resolutions without the time and expense of prolonged courtroom litigation.
Scott D. Jensen is licensed to practice in all state courts in North Dakota and Minnesota, as well as the federal courts in North Dakota. He is also a qualified neutral in both North Dakota and Minnesota. In addition to his legal practice, he has served in leadership roles in bar, civic, and educational organizations. His long record of professional and community service reflects a commitment to fairness, public service, and effective problem solving.
