Sarah Castleton is an attorney whose practice centers on estate planning, probate, guardianships, and trust administration. For more than twenty-eight years, she has provided legal guidance to individuals and families in Albany and surrounding communities. Her approach is grounded in careful listening, thoughtful planning, and a commitment to helping clients make informed decisions about matters that affect their futures. By focusing on personal goals and long-term needs, she works to create legal solutions that reflect each client’s wishes and circumstances.
Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science from Utah State University in 1987. She later received a Juris Doctor from New England School of Law in 1994. This educational foundation, combined with decades of legal experience, has allowed her to develop a comprehensive understanding of estate-related legal matters and the practical challenges families often face.
Sarah understands that planning for the future often involves sensitive conversations and important family considerations. She is known for creating a welcoming environment where clients can openly discuss their concerns, priorities, and objectives. Through clear communication and individualized attention, she helps clients navigate estate planning and administration matters with confidence and clarity. Her work includes assisting with the preparation of estate planning documents, guiding families through probate proceedings, addressing guardianship matters, and supporting the administration of trusts.
Sarah has also remained actively involved in the community throughout her career. In addition to providing legal counsel, she has delivered educational presentations designed to help community members better understand estate planning and related legal topics. Her dedication to public service is reflected in her participation on numerous community boards. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Albany Safety Foundation. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys spending time with her four children, traveling, reading, and volunteering with her church.
