Before becoming a licensed attorney, she gained extensive experience as a law clerk with the San Diego County and Ventura County District Attorney’s Offices. One of her most significant legal victories includes successfully arguing for a client’s custody rights in a same-sex custody case, which the Alaska Supreme Court upheld. Before moving to Alaska in 2018, she honed her litigation skills as an Assistant District Attorney in Oklahoma from 2015 to 2018, where she developed a deep understanding of courtroom advocacy and a healthy respect for tornadoes and hailstorms.
