Sabah Khalaf

Sabah Khalaf is a Tulsa trial lawyer who focuses on DUI defense and major criminal cases. He represents clients in federal, state, tribal, and municipal courts, handling matters from pre-filing investigations through trial. His practice includes aggravated DUI, drug-related DUI, DWI, driver’s license issues, and cases involving serious criminal charges. Sabah earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma before receiving his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law. During law school, he was inducted into the Order of the Barristers and served as managing editor of the Tulsa Journal of Comparative and International Law. He was also a Chesapeake Scholar and Speaker Pro Tempore of the Student Bar Association. This training strengthened his abilities in advocacy, legal writing, and case analysis.

Sabah began his legal career as an assistant district attorney for Tulsa County. That experience gave him firsthand knowledge of how law enforcement investigations, intake packets, pre-filing decisions, formal charges, and trials develop. He applies that background when examining evidence, identifying legal issues, and preparing defense strategies. His work includes communicating with clients, prosecutors, and other parties to address criminal accusations efficiently and guide clients through each stage of the court process.

Sabah Khalaf has been recognized by the Tulsa County Bar Association as its 2014–2015 Outstanding Young Lawyer and has been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. He is a past chair of the American Association for Justice Criminal Law Section and belongs to several criminal defense and trial lawyer organizations. He is also invited to speak about DUI defense, criminal law, and criminal procedure. His practice reflects a commitment to clear communication, careful preparation, and determined advocacy.
