About
Ryan Caselden is the attorney behind Caselden Law, a Cambridge firm handling criminal defense, family law, traffic matters, and general practice cases. His criminal work includes misdemeanor and felony charges, DUI and OUI defense, drug cases, assault matters, criminal traffic citations, probation issues, warrants, record sealing, and license problems. He represents clients in divorce, child support, custody, visitation, and other family-law matters throughout Massachusetts.
Ryan earned his J.D. from the University of Miami and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. As an undergraduate, he interned for US Senator Ted Kennedy. After law school, he worked as a criminal defense and litigation attorney at a Boston-area law firm. His education and early litigation experience provided a foundation for courtroom advocacy, legal analysis, and the practical handling of criminal, family, and other contested matters.
Ryan has represented thousands of clients in courthouses across Massachusetts. His practice includes criminal defense at different levels of seriousness, from traffic-related offenses and misdemeanors to felony charges, along with Registry of Motor Vehicles matters and family-law disputes. Before entering private legal practice, he served six years in the US Air Force Reserve and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant, experience that adds a disciplined operational background to his litigation work.
Ryan Caselden leads a Cambridge practice that emphasizes direct client communication, detailed case review, and courtroom advocacy. He has been featured in news coverage and has provided legal commentary for local NPR radio. His broad practice allows him to assist individuals facing criminal charges, license consequences, family disputes, and other legal problems while building strategies around the facts, available defenses, procedural requirements, and the practical goals of each client.
