About
Rozanna Pondeva Gasparian is a senior immigration attorney who represents individuals and families in matters involving family immigration, deportation defense, and employment-based immigration. She serves clients in California’s Central Valley and focuses on complex cases, including those in which people have been told they have no options. An immigrant to the United States herself, she brings a personal understanding of the challenges her clients face. Her work centers on protecting their rights and helping them pursue a path forward.
Rozanna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California State University, Northridge, in 2009. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law, graduating with scholastic merit. During law school, she took part in the Western State Immigration Clinic, where she provided pro bono immigration services to people in Orange County. She also interned for an attorney who later became an immigration judge, gaining experience that informed her work in immigration law.
Rozanna has spent more than a decade working solely in immigration law. She has represented thousands of clients before immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and federal immigration agencies, including U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Her experience spans family immigration, removal proceedings, and business employment matters. She has also volunteered with nonprofit organizations in Los Angeles County to provide pro bono representation to survivors of domestic violence.
Rozanna Pondeva Gasparian is a member of the California State Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Armenian Bar Association, and the Los Angeles Women’s Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Her practice reflects a sustained commitment to immigrants facing difficult legal decisions and to people who need access to legal representation.
