Robert S. Dodds is a seasoned attorney with more than 30 years of experience advising individuals and businesses. He focuses on commercial transactions, real estate, and taxation matters. As chair of his firm’s practice group, he provides practical guidance and trusted legal support.
Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Clemson University in 1985. He later received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1988. He also earned an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
Robert has built a long and respected career across several law firms. He began at Wise & Cole, P.A., then practiced at Nelson Mullins Riley Scarborough. He later co-founded Cisa & Dodds, LLP, and also led his own firm before joining Clement Rivers, LLP.
Robert is admitted to practice in South Carolina and is an active member of the Charleston County Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar Association. He also served his community as a member of the Mount Pleasant Town Council, showing his commitment to public service.
