Robert F. Kramer

Robert F. Kramer is the founder of The Law Offices of Robert F. Kramer, Ltd., serving individuals and families throughout DuPage, Will, and Kendall Counties. He represents clients in divorce and family law, real estate, estate planning, and civil IRS matters. Since 1997, he has provided practical guidance focused on steady results.

Robert earned his JD from Northern Illinois University School of Law, DeKalb, IL, in 1993. He also received his B.A. in Political Science from Northern Illinois University in 1986. His education built a strong base in legal research, writing, and client advocacy across a wide range of legal matters.

While attending law school, Robert worked as a front-end supervisor at Builder’s Square to help pay for his education. After graduation, he worked for an attorney handling commercial real estate for restaurant franchises in the Midwest. He later joined a Hinsdale litigation firm focusing on divorce, family law, real estate, and personal injury.

In 1997, Robert opened his own practice, starting with an office in Plainfield. In 2016, he expanded and opened a second office in Lombard. He has completed over 2,000 real estate closings. His firm represents clients across many local communities with clear advice and steady representation.

Robert’s past positions include serving as a camp counselor at YMCA Camp Nawakwa in 1986 and working as a research assistant for Professor Guadalupa Luna at NIU School of Law from 1992-1993. He also worked as an attorney intern and later as an associate attorney in Hinsdale.

Robert F. Kramer is admitted to practice in Illinois since 1993. He is a member of the DuPage Bar Association, the Lombard Chamber of Commerce, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, and Wheaton Drama. He is also active in his community and local professional groups.
