Robert Elias

Robert Elias is the Managing Principal and founder of The Elias Law Firm, PLLC in Miami Lakes, where he leads a transactional practice focused on real estate, bank and lender representation, corporate law, estate planning, probate, and asset protection. His work includes commercial and residential real estate matters, business transactions, zoning-related issues, and planning for clients with significant property or financial interests. He has practiced law in Miami Lakes since 2001.

Elias earned a B.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance from Southern Methodist University’s Edwin L. Cox School of Business and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. His combined business and legal education supports a practice involving financing, commercial transactions, property matters, corporate structuring, and estate planning. The finance background is particularly relevant to work with banks, lenders, investors, buyers, sellers, and business clients whose legal decisions have substantial economic consequences.

Elias worked in the legal department of Carnival Cruise Lines during law school. After graduation, he handled real estate workouts, transactions, and litigation at Kimbrell & Hamann, including substantial work for the Resolution Trust Corporation and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He later practiced land use, zoning, commercial leasing, real estate transactions, and governmental matters at Weiss Serota. His firm reports that he has closed real estate and other transactions exceeding $2.5 billion in value.

Robert Elias has received an AV Preeminent peer rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was named among South Florida’s Top-Rated Lawyers by American Lawyer Media. He served as a founding director of Apollo Bank and its holding company, including committee leadership during the bank’s growth.
