Richard N. Gonzales is a dedicated bankruptcy lawyer at Garcia & Gonzales, P.C., with over four decades of legal experience in Colorado. Richard earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. He was also awarded an MBA scholarship at Stanford University, which he respectfully declined. He earned his J.D. from the University of Denver’s Law School. After law school, Richard passed the Colorado Bar Examination and was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1977. Additionally, he earned his Colorado Real Estate Broker’s License that same year and has kept both licenses active by regularly completing required education.
Richard began his career as a Deputy District Attorney in Arapahoe County, where he prosecuted criminal cases and gained valuable courtroom experience. He later worked at a small law firm, handling a range of legal matters, including real estate, criminal cases, and domestic relations. Between 1980 and 1982, he served as in-house counsel for several companies, managing legal affairs related to commercial real estate and banking.
Richard N. Gonzales has handled thousands of bankruptcy cases, real estate transactions, family law disputes, probate matters, and personal injury cases since entering private practice. He has represented both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy court. Since 1994, Richard has been a partner at Garcia & Gonzales, P.C., continuing to serve clients with professionalism and care.
