Richard L. Brand

Richard L. Brand is the San Francisco Managing Partner and Sports Industry Group Co-Leader. He focuses on sports law, real estate, corporate transactions, e-commerce, and hospitality matters. He represents teams, owners, and companies in complex deals, including sponsorships, media rights, and major business transactions.

Rich earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1984. He received his B.A. in Finance from Georgetown University in 1981, building a strong academic background that supports his work in corporate, sports, and real estate transactions.

Rich represents professional sports teams, leagues, and facility owners in sponsorship, naming rights, and media agreements. His work includes advising buyers and sellers of sports franchises, negotiating player and executive contracts, and handling complex real estate and corporate transactions across industries.
