Richard G. Zimmer

Richard G. Zimmer is a California trial attorney at Zimmer & Melton, LLP, with extensive experience in business, civil, agricultural, oil and gas, water, environmental, and personal injury law disputes. He began his legal career as a Kern County Deputy District Attorney, handling serious criminal cases from 1982 through 1987. He later spent 30 years with Clifford & Brown, where he handled complex litigation for individuals and businesses. He became a partner, shareholder, and eventually managing partner before founding his current practice.

Mr. Zimmer earned a J.D. from California Western School of Law. He previously received a B.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating with highest honors. Mr. Zimmer has litigated more than 100 trials to verdict.
