Richard B. Vincent is a partner at Vincent & Romeo, LLC, serving clients through the firm’s Lafayette and Denver metro offices. His practice emphasizes legal issues affecting elderly and disabled clients, including Medicaid eligibility, public benefits, trust and estate planning, probate administration, guardianships, conservatorships, and disability planning. Vincent earned his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law in 1983. He also received an M.B.A. from the University of Denver Graduate School of Business in 1983 and a B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1977, graduating with honors. In 1996, he was awarded a Certificate in Gerontology by the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work, strengthening his work with older adults and disabled clients.
Vincent’s experience includes helping clients establish and maintain eligibility for Medicaid and other public benefit programs. He also assists with special needs trusts, durable powers of attorney, probate matters, estate planning, conservatorships, guardianships, and nursing home planning concerns. Richard B. Vincent is certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association, and the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. He has served as chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee, edited an elder law section newsletter, contributed to The Colorado Handbook of Elder Law, and has been recognized by Super Lawyers for many years.
