Renée Marquis-Abrams is an accomplished estate planning attorney and Partner who has dedicated her career to serving clients in Wills, Trusts, and Estates law. Practicing since 1993, she is known for her deep expertise and meticulous approach to guiding individuals and families through estate planning, probate, and trust administration with professionalism and care.
Renée earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida in 1989 and subsequently received her Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Florida in 1993. Her strong academic foundation laid the groundwork for a distinguished career characterized by integrity, legal excellence, and client-centered service in all aspects of estate and tax planning.
Since joining the firm in 1997, Renée has handled hundreds of probate and trust administrations, from straightforward estate plans to complex cases involving estate and gift tax returns. She regularly drafts comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives, and assists with forming business entities, such as family limited partnerships and limited liability companies.
Recognized for her excellence, Renée Marquis-Abrams achieved Florida Bar Board Certification in Wills, Trusts, and Estates in 2001. They were named a Florida Super Lawyer for Estate Planning and Probate in 2007. She also served as President of the St. Lucie County Bar Association and was a member of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.
