Reid G. Johnson

Reid G. Johnson is a principal attorney at Lukins & Annis, P.S., focusing on intellectual property, complex commercial litigation, employment law, real estate disputes, and trust and estate litigation. He represents businesses and individuals across industries such as software, utilities, real estate, retail, cannabis, and entertainment. With extensive experience in both state and federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and multiple appellate courts, Reid helps clients resolve legal disputes effectively and efficiently.

Reid earned his J.D., cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2011. He also holds a B.S. in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin, which he completed in 2007. He is admitted to practice in Washington state, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Federal Circuit.

In his intellectual property practice, Reid advises clients on protecting and managing their IP portfolios. He assists with trademark and copyright registrations, licensing agreements, and trade secret protections. He also handles IP enforcement, including opposition and cancellation proceedings. His litigation work includes representing clients in disputes related to intellectual property, employment, real estate, and personal injury.

Johnson has contributed to the legal community as an Adjunct Professor at Gonzaga University School of Law and as Chair of the Washington State Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section.
