Rachel D. Allen

Rachel D. Allen is an attorney at Nitsche & Fredricks, LLC, who focuses on workers’ compensation and personal injury law. She represents people who were hurt in accidents or harmed at work and helps them pursue fair financial recovery. Rachel manages cases from investigation through litigation and, when needed, trial. Her experience handling complex claims allows her to guide clients through the legal process with clarity. She works to hold negligent parties accountable and protect the rights of injured individuals.

Rachel earned her J.D. from Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law in 2010. During law school, she served as an Editor on the Yearbook of Arbitration and Mediation. She previously completed her B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from Iowa State University in 2007. Her academic training provided a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and advocacy. These studies prepared her to analyze complex legal disputes and represent clients effectively in demanding personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.

Rachel began her legal career as a Certified Legal Intern with the Penn State Family Law Clinic. She later served as a Judicial Law Clerk to judges of the Family Court of the State of Delaware. After her clerkship, she worked at a regional defense law firm representing insurance companies in personal injury litigation. This experience gave her insight into how insurers evaluate claims. She now uses that knowledge to advocate for injured clients and pursue fair compensation for them.

Rachel D. Allen is active in professional legal organizations that support trial lawyers and injured victims. She serves as Vice President of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and contributes to the American Association for Justice as a Revitalization Governor for Delaware. Her work reflects a commitment to strengthening the civil justice system. Rachel has also been recognized for her professional achievements, including selection to Super Lawyers Rising Stars and recognition among the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 list.
