About

Pratibha Agarwal is the founder and managing attorney of Agarwal Law Group PLLC, an immigration firm serving individuals, families, businesses, corporations, and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States. Her practice includes humanitarian immigration, family-based matters, employment-based visas, green cards, and citizenship issues. She handles matters involving VAWA, T visas, U visas, sponsorship for employees, and other complex immigration needs. Her work combines immigration strategy with experience gained earlier in large-firm litigation and investigations.

Pratibha earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, graduating in the top third of her class. She also earned a B.A. in Psychology from George Washington University. Her education supports a practice that requires detailed statutory analysis, careful preparation of immigration filings, and close attention to the personal and business consequences of immigration decisions. Her legal training was followed by several years of complex litigation and investigation work before she shifted her focus to immigration law.

Pratibha practiced for approximately seven years at Jones Day, where she handled complex litigation and internal investigations, including matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. She later moved into immigration practice and founded Agarwal Law Group in 2017. Her current work includes humanitarian petitions, family immigration, employment-based visas, and green-card sponsorship for corporate and nonprofit employees. The combination of prior litigation experience and immigration practice supports careful handling of fact-intensive and document-heavy cases.

Pratibha Agarwal has held leadership and service roles within the legal community, including work with the D.C. Bar’s Law Practice Management Community and the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia. Her practice emphasizes immigration solutions for people and organizations facing complex legal and procedural requirements. By combining large-firm litigation experience with a focused immigration practice, she brings a structured approach to humanitarian, family, and employment matters while guiding clients through demanding federal immigration processes.
