About
Peter L. Albrecht is a Madison, Wisconsin labor and employment attorney and shareholder with more than 30 years of experience counseling employers. He focuses on traditional labor law, collective bargaining, arbitration hearings, unfair labor practice proceedings, non-compete agreements, trade secrets, and employment litigation. He helps organizations anticipate disputes, understand workforce obligations, and develop practical strategies designed to reduce legal risk and avoid costly proceedings when possible.
Peter earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in English and Philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis. He later spent twelve years with his current practice before establishing a boutique labor and employment firm. He returned in 2020, bringing both litigation experience and focused employment counsel to his work. His background includes collective bargaining negotiations, arbitration, NLRB proceedings, workplace policies, and proactive advice shaped by how disputes may develop in court.
Peter L. Albrecht has been recognized as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer since 2008 and listed in The Best Lawyers in America for employment law, labor law, and labor and employment litigation since 2021.
