Paul R. Mazzoni

Paul R. Mazzoni is Of Counsel at the firm and focuses his practice on wills and estates, federal and state criminal law, personal injury, and wrongful death. With decades of legal experience, he brings strong insight to complex matters in both civil and criminal courts. Paul earned his LL.B. from Georgetown Law, where he built the foundation for his career in litigation and public service. He also holds an A.B. from the University of Scranton. These academic achievements supported his early entry into high-level legal work, including significant courtroom responsibilities. He was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in multiple federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

Paul’s distinguished career includes service as a two-term district attorney of Lackawanna County, during which he handled complex criminal prosecutions and worked closely with local and federal agencies. He has also served as a referee for the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Fund and as solicitor for public institutions, including the Lackawanna River Basin Sewer Authority and Valley View School District. His private practice work includes guiding clients through estate planning, probate, personal injury claims, and serious criminal matters. He is known for practical solutions grounded in thorough legal knowledge.
