Paul Brizendine

Paul Brizendine is the managing partner of Brizendine Law Office, LLC in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He concentrates his practice on workers’ compensation, Social Security disability, and personal injury law. He is admitted to practice in Indiana and Kentucky, before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Indiana and the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Mr. Brizendine earned both his J.D. and his M.S. in Geology from the University of Tulsa in 1994. He also holds a B.S. in Physical Science and Geology from the University of Houston at Clear Lake, completed in 1990. During law school, he served as a Staff Editor for the Tulsa Journal of Comparative and International Law.

Mr. Brizendine’s path to law began long before law school. From 1987 to 1991, he worked at the Ethyl Corporation Houston Plant, serving as a laboratory technician, industrial firefighter, and elected Union Steward and Committeeman for OCAW Local 4-16000.

Paul’s hands-on experience representing union members in employment matters, contract negotiations, and grievance proceedings sparked his interest in law and shaped the advocate he became. Since establishing his practice in Southern Indiana in the mid-1990s, he has represented injured workers and disabled individuals across the Louisville and Southern Indiana metropolitan area, with notable appellate decisions in both Indiana and Kentucky courts.

Paul Brizendine is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and the Workplace Injury Litigation Group, among others.
