Paul A. Thompson

Paul A. Thompson is the founding partner of Keller, Woods & Thompson, P.A., where he concentrates on civil litigation and personal injury lawsuits and disputes. His work includes car accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, dog bites, medical malpractice, dram shop claims, and boating accidents. He also advises orthopaedic, dental, and chiropractic clinics on start-ups, buy-sell agreements, partnership agreements, employment contracts, insurance billing, leases, and related business issues.

Paul earned a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and graduated summa cum laude from Augsburg College. His legal education supports a practice combining civil litigation, personal injury advocacy, and business counseling for healthcare providers and clinics.

Paul prepares injury cases with trial in mind while recognizing that settlement or alternative processes can better serve some clients. He combines courtroom strategy with direct communication and works to understand each client’s needs before developing an approach.
